Willa Cather in her novel My Antonia (yes, a signal phrase) offers her view of life during the pioneer time.


How would My Ántonia be different if it were told from Antonia's perspective?
The reader wouldn't know what the other people was thinking or feeling. knowing only what Antonia knew and feel.

How effective is Cather, a woman, at narrating a story from the point of view of a man? Does Jim sound like a man writing, or does the narrative sound like a woman pretending to be a man?
Sounded like a man writing the novel, some places it sounded like a woman pretending to be a man.

Why do you think Jim changed the title from Antonia to My Antonia?
because he loved and cared for Antonia a lot in the novel. it also made the reader think they would end up together

The effect of the land causes the person to see the beauty in the land.

My home setting effects how I grew up and how I behave. During the summer when the sun is high and the breeze is cool and when my family is home we do many outdoor activates. Jeep riding is one of the many activates we do, the roar of the engine and the cry of the tires as we barrel off the roads into the untamed nature. Like deer jumping through the Forrest we bounce across the land explore new places.

Assertion; Concealed licences should allow you to carry to public areas

• Evidence: House just passed new law Stating that  “We should let the states decided whether or not, or under what conditions, to allow people who are in their state to carry concealed handguns.”

• Commentary 1: By allowing people with concealed licence to carry concealed handguns will allow them to protect them self to threats. People would be able to take a stand against criminals who have threaten them.

• Commentary 2: Although I do agree some public areas shouldn't allow Concealed guns. such as schools and Airports.

The House passed the law allowing every state to choose weather or not to allow Concealed handguns and the conditions on the requirements.

• Commentary 1: A total of 49 states have some sort of law allowing the carrying of concealed guns, only state not to allow it is Illinois
• Commentary 2: Legislation that would require states to recognize concealed-carry firearm permits made the vote on Wednesday with an out come of 272 to 154.

opposing claims/they say:

• Some think that guns should be allowed in public areas even with concealed licence. By allowing guns into public areas seems to be an easy way for criminals to have access to weapons.

My rebuttal/i say!

• Although i agree with them that it does allow for easy access to guns, by allowing civilians to have concealed weapons with a licences could allow them to protect themselves along with others when being threaten or in danger.

My thinking- Although I do not full agree with all of the new laws proposal, I'm very pleased with the outcome of the new Law. Some people censure the new Law but I do believe that this will help stop some criminals. By allowing civilians to take a stand against criminals and allowing them to protected themselves in tense situations.  

House Approves concealed-carry reciprocity Law

Wounded Warrior Project would be a great way to supported our wounded troops.
Wounded Warriors are brave soldiers that fought for our country and sacrificed so much for us today. we all need to pay them back for their hard work and devotion to their country. They may feel upset and troubled by their experience. We need to show them that we are still proud and glad for their service.

Everyone in Batesville High School should pay at least ONE Dallor to the Wounded Warrior Project. The money earned will go to a backpack for our Wounded Warriors. Each backpack cost $90. Batesville School has way over 500 students, we should be able to get atleast three backpacks for our Project.

Everyone should join our project and supported our troops. I beleive this project will help out a lot. they need to know we are very proud and thankful for their tour of duty.
So please join our Project and help out our Wounded Warriors!

I do not remember a lot about 9-11 on that day. I remember seeing the news and a building on fire, Little did i know that planes had crashed into them. America was forever changed after 9-11. Terrorist believe what they did was right and righteous. I believe they should all be executed for their inhumane acts on the WTC.
Terrorist are Ignorant because they believe killing thousands of innocent people will save them.
